Hi,
As is the story with many my age, I had a childhood collection, but then didn't have any serious contact with the hobby until a few decades later. I've been collecting US Type (non-gold, circulation strike) since about 1999, and I have a few other side collections that keep me active. Birthday sets, bag-toned crescent Morgans, arm's-length overdates, and a smattering of US tokens and Hawaiian coins come to mind. Love the hobby and the coin friends that come with it!
