1794 1/2C PO1BN PCGS #1003

Made with a ton of help from friends!! Originally purchased from CVM as a raw coin. PCGS rejected the coin twice.... It's a one year type and pretty clear what it is... Many, Many thanks to Zane and friends for getting this in the holder it belongs in!! THANK YOU ALL!!!

1795 1/2C C-5a, No Pole PO1BN PCGS #35083

Made. Bought in an unattributed ANACS Fr2 holder thinking it should be a "Lock" down-grade...! After 2 rejections (Body Bags), finally in the PCGS Pr01 holder it belongs in... KUDOS to the Early Copper specialists at PCGS!

Made... POP 1 for the date and POP 2 for the entire series... Bought raw at the Denver Coin Expo 2021

1859 1C PO1 PCGS #2052

Made... Bought raw at a local coin show... This has been a very tough date to find in Pr01 as Copper Nickel cents tended to wear very well over the years.

1864 1C Copper-Nickel FR2 PCGS #2070

Bought raw and certified.... This is one of my uglier Indian Cents!!

1872 1C PO1BN PCGS #2103

1866 3CN PO1 PCGS #3732

Made!! POP 1 This is one of the very toughest coins to find in the 97 Piece Type Set in Poor! The total POP for the entire series in Pr01 is just 2 pieces; this one and an 1865. Bought raw on E-Bay.... Couldn't believe it was listed, and didn't know if it would grade?? (This due to previous episodes)....... I've bought a couple Jefferson Nickels which I thought had a shot, but were rejected by PCGS as many things other than a straight grade coin...

1792 H10C FR2 PCGS #11020

Great Collections POP1 Nothing lower. Direct provenance to General George Washington who was instrumental in the Half Disme being the first coinage of our fledgling nation. With a mintage of only 1500, history shows General Washington paid for the coins with Silver, and used them in commerce, and or gave them out as favors. PCGS states in their Price Guide that “Fewer than 100 exist”, and the Red Book gives an estimation of between two and three hundred surviving examples. Either way, a rare and exciting piece of American Numismatic history.

1840-O 25C No Drapery PO1 PCGS #5393

This is one of the tougher Low Ball Coins in the entire type series! Until this coin was graded Pr01 there were no coins graded by PCGS of the 3 possible No Drapery dates; 38, 39, & 40-O graded in Poor! Found raw on E-bay and listed just as an 1840 Liberty Seated Quarter....?? The seller didn't realize first to list it as a "No Drapery Date", and second, it had to be a New Orleans Mint coin being such even though the reverse was too worn to discern even a partial "O" mintmark! I wondered if anybody else had caught these facts and waited... Another friend in the Low Ball community encountered this same coin and was wondering the same thing! Talk about a Mad Magazine flash back; "Spy vs Spy"! We had to wait until the very last second to see if either of us was the only person who noticed! We both bid strong numbers on the coin, and I was the fortunate winner... The following morning I got the phone call... Did you.....???? 😊

1853 25C Arrows and Rays PO1 PCGS #5426

Made... After 2 body bags; "Authenticity Unverifiable" due (?) to no date showing, I pointed out to the Grading Gods that a date is not necessary on certain one-year type coins, per their "Official Grading Guide".... Graded!

Made..!!!! 😊😊😊 Bought Raw at the St. Louis Coin Fair 7 Feb 2020. Basically the last large coin show before the Corona Virus hit the fan. It was late, and the show was about to close, and I was ready to leave, but something told me to peruse the last few tables before leaving... Well, turned out some of the better buys at the show were there, including this perfect Low Ball piece!

Thanks to Michael for this pop 1 coin!

1964 50C PO1 PCGS #6706

Fivaz's Worlds Worst Collection. Sold as an Fr2 and should have been a "No Questions" downgrade to a Pr01... Sent in for regrade via their "Guarantee Resubmission" ,and over 2 months later it is finally in a Poor One holder! I'm Mystified; how in the world was this coin NOT graded a Pr01 the first time!?? Especially if you compare it to the Pr01 example used in the PCGS Photograde Guide; Night and Day!

1795 $1 Flowing Hair, BB-21 PO1 PCGS #39986

Made! POP 1!! Actually, it was in an NGC holder as a Pr01 without any attribution. It failed to cross over the first 2 times with PCGS. I dare say without the help of the esteemed Mark Borckardt, the coin would not have crossed over! Mark's detailed study overwhelmingly turned the tide... Many thanks Mark!

1795 $1 BB-52, Centered Bust PO1 PCGS #39995

Made POP 1!! June 2012. The preeminent Mark Borckardt blessed it with the correct attribution; thank you again Mark!

CAC Heritage

1870 $1 PO1 PCGS #6963

Pogue Collection with CAC Sticker. Catalogued and sold as a Carson City Mint product, but PCGS Holdered it as a "P" Mint. Either way, POP 1. NOTE: I agree with Stack's Bowers that the coin is a Carson City Mint Product; while not cristal clear as with a mint state coin, it "Appears" pretty clearly to be a "CC". Viewers be the judge and leave a comment ya or nay!

1843 $1 PO1 PCGS #6929
