This is a sharply struck, boldly cameo specimen that contrasts frosty motifs with reflective fields. Both sides are essentially untoned. A popular precursor to the regular issue Liberty Head nickel of 1883 to 1912, Judd-1690 enjoys strong demand among both series specialists and pattern enthusiasts.
