1855 Seated Liberty Half Dollar. Arrows. WB-101. MS-65 (NGC). OH. A scarcer Arrows, No Motto issue, both sides shimmer with full luster in a satin-to-softly frosted texture. Attractively toned, as well, otherwise pinkish-apricot iridescence yields to bolder cobalt-blue highlights around much of the obverse border. Sharply struck throughout, with only a few inconsequential abrasions that are easily overlooked. We also note several light clashmarks (as struck) in the fields around the central devices, as well as within the recessed areas of the reverse shield.
