- Pleasing example of Civil War era coinage and the No Motto Type. Mostly white satiny surfaces with significant reflectivity and appealing light golden toning likely account for the CAC designation. PCGS 21, NGC 11, CAC 4. Current PCGS price guide lists value at $2,100. Last MS64 CAC coin sold at auction for $1,800 in November 2017. Less than 10 coins in this grade sold at auction in the last 7 years, with most in the $2,000 to $2,500 range. Tough date in MS64 or better, will nicely complement a Seated Quarter or type set. Cert.
