This is a lovely, original, richly toned GEM example of this early Seated Liberty date. Sharply struck devices stand out against the bold, satiny underlying luster. Classic, old collection toning graces both sides, the rich slate, rose, and cobalt toning is exceptionally nice on both sides. A delightful little GEM type coin. PCGS 20, NGC 22. The last two non-CAC examples sold for $1,200 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $1,800. Worthy of a wonderful half dime set, whether by type, date, or variety, this one fits every bill!
