Now this is a phenomenal quality 1914 Proof quarter! Shimmering icy mirrors are crystal clear, perfectly clean, and of course have a killer reflection. A moderate mix of pretty and totally original lilac/purple/pale gold/peach/ blue/gold colors swirl about the obverse. The reverse is deep lavender (it is nowhere close to dull or drab). Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and appear boldly. The eye appeal is excellent! Only 380 were ever minted. The numbers on this SUPER GEM are mind boggling! PCGS 7, NGC 6, CAC 6. This coin has an amazing auction record of $18,400 in April 2008 (where Legend was the buyer) which was an ALL TIME HIGH for the date. The last auction record for ANY 1914 PR68 PCGS CAC selling was $11,163 in October 2012. OMG, that is forever ago! This is a far better date with the lowest mintage. Cert.
