Here is a truly magnificent SUPERB GEM 42-S dime! First off, rarely does this date come with attractive toning, but this one has a wealth of orange and gold tones on the obverse that are beautifully brought out by a bold, satiny mint frost. The sharply struck devices stand out, including the central band which shows full definition. The eye appeal is great. PCGS 252, NGC 113, CAC 83. There are 31 in MS67+ FB and just 6 finer. The last two PCGS MS67+ FB CAC examples sold in June and July 2020 for $1,920 and $1,293 respectively. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,700.
