FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION Just a few years into production, the mintage of three cent silvers dropped to 139,000; this GEM ranks very high on the Population Report, just 18 are graded MS65 with a mere ten finer. This satiny lustrous GEM has a thick frosty texture in the fields. The surfaces are brilliant and virtually untoned on both sides, with just a hint of golden iridescent tone that appears when rotated in a light. Sharply struck from boldly clashed dies, this beauty has a stunning and cool look! PCGS 18, NGC 9, CAC 9. The most recent PCGS/CAC example realized $6,000 in the 2020 FUN auction. Prior to that, the Stone Collection coin, NGC MS65 CAC sold for $9,375 in May 2018. Just 10 coins are graded higher at PCGS, we sold the most recent MS66 CAC for $14,300 in December 2018.
