This is a very pleasing N-9. Satiny luster blooms throughout with a vibrant, brilliant cartwheel swirl that accents the smooth, nicely preserved surfaces. A soft, steel-blue hue is dusted over an even light brown that shows off ample original RED color throughout the reverse. Nicely struck and boasting a superior look for the type, this coin is truly a delight to behold. PCGS 26, NGC 15, CAC 11. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,800 and the last PCGS/CAC N-9 to sell was the Twin Leaf (July 2015:2063) at $3,055. Just three coins are graded finer for the Small Date in the BN category, 2 in MS64+ and one in 65. What a great, original, pleasing Choice Mint State example, perfect for a type set. Cert.
