By the time this date was released into circulation, the fad hoarding of bank wrapped rolls by collectors had ended, and when the values of rolls remained at face, they went into circulation, where they still remain. As a contender as one of the FINEST KNOWN, this beauty will fit into any upper tier PCGS Registry Set. This remarkable SUPERB GEM is very well struck, with full, crisp devices seen on both sides. The surfaces have a satiny brilliant sheen, the fields are frosty and gorgeously toned. Rainbow bands at the peripheries frame the icy, periwinkle-teal iridescent centers. The eye appeal is AMAZING! PCGS 4, NGC 19. Only one of these PCGS MS68s have sold at public auction, realizing a record $11,750 in our January 2019 Regency Auction. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $12,500.
