- 1863 Pattern Two-Cent Piece. Judd-312, Pollock-377. Rarity-4. Copper. Plain Edge. Proof-64 BN (PCGS). Obv: Similar to the design that the Mint adopted for regular issue two-cent coinage in 1864, although the motto on the scroll reads GOD OUR TRUST instead of IN GOD WE TRUST. Rev:Also similar to the adopted type of the following year, but the word CENTS is markedly curved and the detail to the wreath is slightly different. PCGS# 60467. NGC ID: 29ER.
