- 1886 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-65 (PCGS). This handsome example is dressed in a blend of antique copper, sandy-rose and mauve-gray patina. The persistent viewer aided by direct lighting will be further rewarded with exceptionally vivid undertones of golden-apricot, powder blue, deep rose and salmon pink. The surfaces are silky smooth in appearance and uncommonly well preserved for an issue that is typically offered no finer than Proof-64.
