FROM THE INCLINE COLLECTION For a Jefferson nickel of the mid 1950s, this one has a bold, flashing luster that beams all over the exceptional, GEM quality surfaces. The definition throughout is razor sharp, with all the details on Monticello nicely defined. Some splashes of original toning can be found scattered around the fields on both sides. Wonderfully preserved, free of any serious marks, this coin ranks in the top 10 of PCGS graded examples. PCGS 8, NGC 0. While the most recent example to sell brought $2,520 in April 2020, we sold an example for $3,408 in our June 2019 Regency Auction and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,750.
