- 1896 Barber Half Dollar. MS-64 (PCGS). Lightly toned surfaces are dusted with delicate sandy-silver iridescence. The finish is semi-prooflike, with both sides noticeably reflective in the fields. The design elements are set apart with a satin to softly frosted texture.
