1845-O Liberty Seated Dime. Fortin-101. Rarity-4. Large Thin O. EF-45 (PCGS). Rare as a date and mint in all grades, collector demand for the 1845-D dime far exceeds the supply. The offered coin is quite attractive with gunmetal-gray surfaces and hints of blue in the fields. Just two examples are reported by PCGS in Mint State, one as MS-62, the other as MS-69. The mintage of 230,000 pieces for the year insures this rarity's popularity.
