The devices are thickly frosted in the centers, standing out in stark relief from the surrounding fields. The sleek mirrors are clean, clear, and deep, and are virtually flawless. A faint blush of gold at the peripheries attests to the originality of this marvelous PQ GEM. Only 1100 Proofs were struck. PCGS 6, NGC 19. The most recent example to sell in auction was another coin from this extensive offering, selling for $3,643 in our May 2021 Regency Auction. Just seven examples have graded higher at NGC.
