GUATEMALA. 8 Reales, 1789-M. Charles IV (1788-1808). NGC AU-55. KM-45; FC-34; EI-44; Cal-Type 73#617. Transitional issue with the portrait of Charles III and the legend: CAROLUS IV. Variety with clean ordinal which is much scarcer than the IV/III over ordinal. Sharply struck with light grey toning showing iridescent golden hues.
