A VERY CHOICE and totally original (but NOT dull) example of a VERY difficult coin to find nice.
Impressive surfaces are seriously above average in cleanliness. Only if you use a strong glass, you will find very light chatter. The dreaded right reverse field has just a tick or two and is NOT hacked up like so commonly seen. A surprising luster gently radiates from all over. Both sides are a totally original even deeper gold color. There are no spots, stains, or discolorations. All of the details are exceptionally struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is VERY pleasing!
PCGS 43, NGC 17, CAC 6. PCGS has graded only 3 in MS63+. The current Collectors Universe value is $45,000. VERY important to note we paid $48,000 for a plain MS63 (NO +) in April 2022 and had no problem selling it. A PCGS CAC MS 64 would cost close to $75,000 -if you could even find one. If you are building a choice set, you know it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a nice 11-D. What a terrific addition to any choice/GEM $5 Indian set this coin is!
NOTE: We encourage collectors to build $5 Indian sets. In MS63-65 they can be completed!
