An attractive GEM of this date with a near-Cameo contrast on both sides when you view it in a light. The mirrors are watery and have a bold, brilliant reflection that surrounds the frosty texture of the devices. A delicate iridescent pastel toning is dusted across nearly flawless surfaces. The eye appeal is great. Only 731 Proofs were struck. PCGS 28, NGC 27. The last NGC-graded PR66 sold in August 2018, realizing $1,800. More recently we sold a PCGS example at $1,528 in April 2021. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,500. A scarce, low mintage issue, and this example truly is a delight to behold. Cert. Number 3664403002 PCGS # 5683
