- 1890 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. MS-66 (PCGS). CAC. Secure Holder. From a low original mintage of just 12,000 coins intended for circulation, this piece was obviously saved and preserved from any detrimental handling or harmful storage methods, leaving it among the finest known survivors of the issue. The flashy surfaces show semi-prooflike fields and untoned centers, with lovely burnt-orange, russet-red, and cobalt-blue peripheral patina. Fully struck and free of distracting marks.
