- 1873 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. No Arrows. Close 3. Proof-65 Cameo (PCGS). This vividly toned Gem Proof half dollar, one of 600 examples struck of the No Arrows variety, is a pleasure to behold, especially if you enjoy richly toned 19th-century coinage. The steel-gray obverse depiction of Liberty is surrounded by a sea of varied gold, red, crimson, blue, and peach iridescence, while the reverse eagle enjoys lively golden iridescence surrounded by fields that reflect rich neon-blue, crimson, and violet toning in a bold light source. Closed 3 in date, as are all No Arrows Proofs of the date. An aesthetic treat and among the finest Cameo Proof examples of the date certified by PCGS.
