Virtually flawless, save for a few faint hairlines under powerful magnification and a tiny mark above the F of HALF on the reverse. With the Civil War ramping up and the demand for hard money in any form being prized above paper money, it is remarkable that any of these early Proof Seated halves survived in lofty grades PCGS 2, NGC 5.
