Wonderful quality and visually impressive in every way, this GEM sits high up on the PCGS Population for the date. This beauty has a wealth of satiny luster that glows brilliantly on both sides. Iridescent, pastel hues, shades of pale blue, rose, peach, and teal. Some minor weakness of strike is seen, typical for the type. Though we see a few light flecks, they have no impact on the outstanding eye appeal. PCGS 249, NGC 49, CAC 58. There are 39 in 66+ and just 16 finer. The auction records are all over the place for MS66+s with CAC approval. The current PCGS Price Guide value of $1,600.
