- A magnificently toned Superb Gem example from the final year of the final year of issue. Though heavily saved at the time of issue and further thanks to a high mintage, the 1938-D Buffalo is a relatively common issue in Gem grades, but at the MS-68 level offered here it is an incredible condition rarity. Pastel rainbow hues grace both sides, emboldened by a satiny mint glow and virtually pristine surfaces. A visually alluring specimen perfect for any Registry Set.
