- Bert Davies Collection. Obviously stored a long time within paper storage -- either an album or a Kraft envelope -- the surface has developed strong coloration that incorporates olive-grey, dusky chartreuse and rose hues, and splashes of blue. The strike pulled nearly the maximum possible level of detail out of the dies such that there are no noticeably shallow areas. An excellent choice for type.
