详细说明: The 1913-S is one of the "big 3" KEY dates in the Barber series. Only 40,000 were struck for circulation, and once released, the majority went directly into commercial channels, where they would remain for years; the typical 13-S is extremely well worn and are more apt to be in the Fair-2 to Good-6 range. A small number of Mint State coins were saved at the time of issue but are RARE in GEM or finer grades. Glossy, satiny underlying lustrous surfaces feature an overtone of mottled olive-tan, champagne-gold, and battleship/slate blue-gray on soft pastel lilac-rose surfaces. There are a couple of minor ticks noted for accuracy, visible only with the aid of a strong glass. The eye appeal is pleasing. PCGS 22, NGC 16. The last two examples of this date/grade sold for $16,800, the most recent in November 2020. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $27,500.
