- SWITZERLAND. Appenzell Cantonal Shooting Festival in Teufen Silver Medal, 1906. PCGS SPECIMEN-66. R-71a; Martin-45. By J. Stauffacher and Franz Homberg, Bern. 45mm. Obverse: Arms of Appenzell superimposed on a tripartite spray of garland; perimeter legend; Reverse: Citizen soldier standing, facing left, holding rifle at his feet, flora to right and left, landscape in the background; perimeter legend above. A magnificent high grade example of this issue which is listed by Richter as "Very Rare" in Richter, with a uniform matte finish and steel-gray patina.
