THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION, PART IV A fabulous PQ GEM with strong, distinct claims to the SUPERB grade. Totally original! Deeply reflective, flashy fields have bold, clear mirrors. They are icy sleek and clean with a dusting of soft iridescent toning on the obverse fields. The devices show a thick, creamy-white frost. There is just a hint of weakness on the highest points of the design types that were not fully struck up, The eye appeal is very high end, and this date is VERY RARE any finer. Only 975 Proofs were struck. PCGS 11, NGC 16, CAC 8. The most recent example to sell was the Green-Newman coin that we sold in October 2020, which realized $5,640. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $7,000 and just four are finer at PCGS in the CAM designation, making this the ideal example for another great set! Good luck. Cert.
