- THE GEORGE SCHWENK COLLECTION The 27-S is another very challenging mintmarked issue from the mid-twenties. This is a great and original CHOICE Mint State example. A kiss of the most delicate iridescent, pastel rainbow toning that is brought out by a bold underlying mint luster. Well struck throughout and the surfaces are ultra clean for the assigned grade. This is a very eye appealing example of this date and grade, one that would be very challenging to find another that looks like this one in this grade. PCGS 182, NGC 79, CAC 11. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,350 and the most recent sold for $3,360 in April 2022. RARE finer, especially in GEM grades.
