- 1798 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. Small Eagle. BB-81, B-2. Rarity-3. 15 Stars on Obverse. VF-20 (PCGS). A pleasing example for the grade, both sides exhibit original dove and pewter gray toning with bolder charcoal outlines to the obverse devices. Universally bold VF detail and an overall smooth appearance further enhance the appeal of this attractive mid grade early dollar. A scarce design type with the Small Eagle reverse, here represented by a particularly intriguing die marriage as the only one of the date with 15 stars on the obverse. BB Die State II.
