FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION This is an amazing RB--one that we keep looking at wondering where's the Brown? Sure the original red surfaces (accounting for about 90% of the coloration) is met with crimson-tan accents, further highlighted by traces of tangerine, magenta, and old golden-red hues. The satiny lustrous Matte Proof finish glows nicely in the fields and highlights the razor sharp devices. There are no flaws of any kind worthy of mention and the eye appeal is exceptional! PCGS 31, NGC 18, CAC 20. The most recent example realized $7,200 in the 2021 ANA auction. This coin has been off the market since the 2012 ANA auction, where it brought $7,050.
