- Glossy throughout with brassy accents, the appearance might not be strictly "ideal" for Charlotte gold, but for only the "very-fine" grade, each side retains rather bold presentation of the intended details. No strong marks can be found on either side, and indeed, the surface has rather surprisingly evaded the plentiful abrasions seen for most mid-grade fives.
