FROM THE HANOVER COLLECTION FS-103. The 3rd Doubled Die Obverse variety for the year, tied with just a single example graded as FINEST at PCGS. The doubling is most evident at IN GOD WE TRUST, but is not as clear as on the FS-101 and FS-102. Wonderfully brilliant, blazing red luster blooms all over. The brightness of the RED is bold in the centers, on the reverse a faint frame of deeper brick/crimson at the rims suggest storage at the end of a roll. A strong glass reveals a few tiny ticks, but they do not detract from the outstanding visual allure. PCGS 2, NGC 0. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,500.
