The obverse stamps relate the serial number (CK91106), the fineness (996.8), and the weight in taels (.992), along with a spade money type, while the reverse conveys the authority of the central mint. Rich and satiny honey-gold surfaces glisten when rotated under a light source, while wholesome specks of russet and charcoal patina establish full originality. Edges and corners remain razor sharp with crisply cut right angles, another wonderful characteristic to this Choice ingot that is tied for finest known in the PCGS population report.
