- INDIA. Fanam, ND (1785-92). Tuticorin Mint. PCGS MS-65. 0.33 gms. Fr-1517; KM-48. Stylized Kali; Reverse: Stylized Nagari legend copied from the contemporary Tanjore Fanam. Sharply struck with brilliant luster. A fantastic GEM example that pops with tilted in the light. Throughout the time these were issued the fineness fluctuated from 0.350 fine in 1700, 0.375 fine in 1742-43 and 0.373-0.365 fine between until 1794. Estimate: $100 - $150.
