详细说明: 1857 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar. Proof-65 (NGC). The 1857 Seated Dollar in proof format is very rare at any grading level, but here, as a full Gem, it is particularly so -- a numismatic treasure that will excite any specialist. The surfaces are not only outstanding in quality, with scarcely any marks or hairlines, but exhibit exceptional blue and russet-gray toning that enhances each device. Fully struck throughout, and a proof at a glance in terms of quality and reflectivity. One of perhaps 50 or so proof Silver Dollars coined in 1857, although much finer than most. Today well within the top 20% of those that survive of this rare issue. The toning really comes alive when examined under a light.     A sizeable crack in the front of the NGC holder at the lower-right border is noted.
