详细说明: An AMAZING QUALITY 1914 quarter! To call this PR68 SUPERB is an understatement and does no justice to the technical quality and aesthetic appeal of this true MONSTER. Phenomenal, shimmering, icy mirrors are perfectly clean, crystal clear, and of course the reflection is blinding! The surfaces are blanketed with a moderate mix of pretty and totally original lilac, purple, pale gold, peach, and blue hues that swirl about the obverse and the reverse is a deep lavender. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and appear boldly. The eye appeal is excellent! The 1914 Barber Proofs are our favorite issues, as the mintage of 380 stands at the lowest production level in over fifty years! PCGS 8, NGC 6, CAC 6. Back in 2008, an example of this date (which was no where near as nice as this piece) sold for $18,800. This is the most recent example to sell in auction bringing nearly $11,000 in our May 2020 Regency Auction. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $11,500.
