A SUPERB jewel! Boasting a classic GEM appearance, this beautiful coin is crisply struck and has a vivacious underlying satiny, mint frost. The central surfaces are silvery with a delicate dusting of clear gold and the golden toning gets deeper toward the peripheries. The surfaces are free of any distracting marks or lines, and truthfully, we cannot see anything that should preclude CAC approval. The eye appeal is exceptional. PCGS 22, NGC 29. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $5,750 and the most recent example sold in November 2017 for $6,300. Keep in mind that anything finer is going to cost $15,000-$20,000 and this one has a great look that makes it highly desirable among collectors. A great coin for a type or date set. Cert.
