- A brilliant Mint State 06-D $10 that has very strong claims to a full GEM grade. Scattered light contact is seen with the aid of a glass, but they have very minimal impact on the frosty brilliant luster that glows vividly in the fields. Well struck, the details are bold and the eye appeal is quite nice. PCGS 28, NGC 5. Two have sold in the summer of 2021, realizing $2,640 and $2,880. Prior to that, the last one sold in 2019 for $3,840. Clearly the PCGS Price Guide value of $2,500 is too low. Keep in mind that half a step up will reach the five-figures!
