This is truly an AMAZING SUPERB GEM Proof 1909 quarter that is tied for FINEST graded at PCGS with just one other. The flashy, flawless, mirrored fields and thickly frosted white devices stand out with a nearly DCAM contrast. Stunningly smooth fields are the epitome of deep, clear reflection that beams from all over. The untoned surfaces are SUPERB technically and aesthetically, and high quality, looking as fresh today as it did 110 years ago when it came off the press. Only 650 Proofs were struck. PCGS 8, NGC 12, CAC 10. There are 2 in PR67+ CAM at PCGS, and we sold one in June 2019 for $6,756 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,500.
