This is one of the very best 25C 1914 Proofs we have ever seen (and we have seen a few)! Sensational mirrors are super deep and beam from all over. They have exceptional clarity, are super clean, and have an intense reflection. Gorgeous original toning of pale purple/deep orange gold cover the obverse. The reverse is more of a purple possibly from sitting on felt. You don't even have to twirl the coin to see the wavy liquid mercury like rolling flash. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do have thick frost. This coin does border cameo. The eye appeal is terrific! Only 380 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 10, CAC 4. The last NGC PR68 CAC to sell in auction brought $8,812.00 03/2016 (not this coin). NO PCGS piece has sold since 2012. The current Collectors Universe Value is $13,000.00.
