While the 1901-S $10 had a large mintage and is very common in all grades including in GEM, only 81,000 1900-S tens were struck and they are considerably scarce in all grades. This example is totally original with a rich, orange-gold patina that graces both sides. Semi-Prooflike reflective brilliance graces the fields on both sides and the details are sharply struck up. Housed in an old green tag holder. PCGS 28, NGC 29, CAC 5. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,500 and its be en over six years since a PCGS/CAC example has sold in auction.
