- A Choice Example of the Type Only Exceeded by a Single "+" Grade for the Date BOLIVIA. 8 Scudos, 1835-PTS. Potosi Mint. PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield. KM-99; Onza-1581. Variety with no dot after BOLIVAR. Exhibiting blinding radiance in the fields with impressively sharp legends and centers that are just short of complete. As is commonplace, a few minor planchet laminations can be found on each side, but no instance is particularly harmful to the appearance. A unquestionably RARE coin in this lovely Mint State quality, this being the sole finest of the date graded at PCGS with a single MS-62+ appearing higher in the NGC census. Estimate: $3,000 - $4,000.
