1869 Pattern Dime. Judd-708, Pollock-787. Rarity-5. Silver. Reeded Edge. Proof-65 (PCGS). Liberty's bust faces right with single star on her forehead with a plain ribbon holding it in place on the obverse. She is surrounded by the legend and Motto below. Reverse depicts an open laurel and oak wreath, within is 10 CENTS, surrounding the wreath is STANDARD SILVER and 1869 below.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Pleasing deep gunmetal-gray toning with tinges of blue cover the surfaces from long storage in a paper envelope. The fields and devices are pleasing with no apparent handling marks, and the strike is full and deep on the devices. While issued in moderate numbers, few survive in Gem condition, making this the perfect selection for the advanced pattern specialist.
