- 1787 Fugio Copper. Pointed Rays. Newman 10-T, W-6705. Rarity-5. STATES UNITED, 1/Horizontal 1. VF-20 (PCGS). Deep golden-tan with rusty red-orange here and there among the devices. Struck on a naturally striated planchet with numerous fissures on both sides, particularly the reverse, and with a planchet lamination in the rays on the obverse. Bold design elements are present on both sides, including at the date where the 1 over Horizontal 1 detail is plainly evident under low magnification. PCGS# 886.
