- 1852 Braided Hair Cent. N-8. Rarity-2. MS-66 BN (PCGS). OGH. This is a gorgeous premium Gem cent with a hard satin texture to smooth surfaces. The otherwise medium copper surfaces also feature glints of warm rose and lilac undertones. The strike is sharp over the focal features on this very pleasing coin. This piece is likely from a small hoard that contained a number of high quality 1852 N-8 cents, and would be equally well suited for an advanced type or variety set. PCGS# 1898. NGC ID: 226J.
