- 1848 Liberty Head Eagle. MS-60 (NGC). Slightly muted yellow-gold color overall. Minor handling marks are seen as expected, and a rare date in Mint State as most of these entered circulation and stayed there for decades. Good eye appeal as the handling marks blend into the fields and devices and are not of the deep or detracting nature common to this series.
