- RUSSIA. Moldavia & Wallachia. 3 Dengi (Para) Pattern, 1771. Catherine II (the Great) (1762-96). NGC AU-55 BN. Bit-1268(RR); Brekke-pp148#4(RR); Diakov-1124(RRR); UZD-4908(R). RARE. The highest graded example seen at NGC. Crowned double eagle with date above, denomination below; Reverse: Crowned cruciform monograms. Smooth evenly dark brown patinated fields, and struck on a high quality flan with a few tiny imperfections as made. Easily one of the finest examples extant. Provenance: From the E.E.
