- 1839 Matron Head Cent. N-3. Rarity-1. Head of 1838, Beaded Cords. MS-67 BN (NGC). An exquisite Superb Gem, glossy-textured surfaces display dominant medium-brown patina. Even so, we can still see traces of original luster adhering to the protected areas around some of the devices. Overall boldly defined, and positively free of detracting blemishes.
